Description

Responsible for the observation of cardiac / hemodynamic monitors and patient activity on a video monitors if applicable. Reports any unusual activity to nurse or charge nurse. Documents according to unit policy.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or monitor technician course or equivalent education/experience



• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Acute care monitor technician experience.
