One of the best ways to raise your spirits that I know is to take the time to smile. Not only does a smile show that you are feeling good, it actually creates a comfortable atmosphere for those around you. We can never know the truth extent of happiness a smile brings to another person, but we can try to measure it by happiness that we feel when someone makes us smile.
There are doors that are slammed in our faces throughout everyday, but we can overlook or forget them at times when a door is opened by someone who is smiling. Not only do smiles make our world look brighter, they also steal something away from the thieves named anger, sadness, depression, worry and resentment. .
We re giving away gifts everytime we share happiness, so maybe it’s time that we start giving gifts to the person we see in our mirror.
If you don’t have a smile, I’ll give you one of mine.
