There is only one you in the world and only one person that can sing your song, so you are incomparable. You are the best you that was ever created and you are the only person that can fully identify your motivation, values, qualities, and talents. It is up to you find your purpose and carry out the things that bring you meaning and fulfillment.
There is no one that can tell us why we are here, sometimes we are not able to answer that question for ourselves. We have to watch our lives and begin to question the quiet areas inside of us to find the answer and to understand what our purpose in life is. This is the beginning of relating to our gifts, talents and skills.
There are no shortcuts to finding our purpose in life and the only navigator is self. We must stay on that path because living a life for our purpose is the point where truly living begins.
Lives of purpose are not created, they are brought from deep within.

We’ve Come A Long Way…Maybe
While touring my household this morning I noticed that my three kids were on the phone at the same time talking to different people. The opulence of today. It seems they each have their own cell phone, their own cd/dvd collection, with their own stereo/tv w/remote systems, their own cereal, their own churches, they use their own house keys to come and go as they choose. They have their own bed in their own room, they each want their own car and eventually “Thank God,” their own house. I tried to have a biblical moment with them and one responded “What did we do?”….hmmmmm?
