An Un-expected Blessing:
Day 4's challenge began with a bit of resistance. However; like 'Paul' I too had to encourage myself and P.U.S.H.
My Testimony:
As a result of a steadily focused 'PUSH', I was blessed with the opportunity to sit with a friend and have a positive conversation(s), which resulted in my witnessing a very familiar act of kindness (the act of obedience through blessing a total stranger) that encouraged my spirit and strengthened my determination to 'Press on' toward my higher call. Being moved by the act of obedience so cheerfully demonstrated in front of me, I sat there reflecting upon the un-expected yet overwhelming smile that appeared on the stranger's face once they finally realized what had just happened to them. I found myself sitting there reflecting back on the many times when I would be the one acting in obedience and how I felt seeing the glow that appeared upon the faces of those I was charged to bless.
Now, who would've thought that after experiencing a bit of resistance to the start of my day, that the day would end like this (me witnessing such an act of obedience)...
My Testimony (Pt.2):
As we sat and continued with our positive conversation(s), sharing about the goodness of the Lord and the importance of being obedient and having a heart & love for our fellow man, I was reminded of just how blessed I was. I had realized that the obscurity that had impacted the start of my day didn't seem so bad after all. And only as the Lord would have it, not only was I blessed to witness this act of obedience, but to my surprise, I too had become an un-expecting recipient of the same. For the Lord had placed it upon my friend's heart to bless me with a blessing (...a blessing that had been Pressed down, Shook together and was Over flowing). I was so moved by this 'yet another' act of kindness that I was left speechless. I could only imagine the look of joy that had appeared on my face, realizing that I was now as one of the very one's that I had just been reflecting upon.
I'm constantly being reminded that 'Obedience is always better than Sacrafice'. Thus in obedience, I ask that you'd listen carefully to the leading of the 'Holy Spirit' and become an Un-Expected Blessing to others by touching the very lives of those of whom the Lord leads you to bless.
In closing; I pray that you've found the words of my testimony encouraging and that you'll find a reason(s) to P.U.S.H., even when you don't feel like it.
Until the next time...I bid you P'ce! Be Blessed and remember, To God be the Glory...Forever!
