Writing an ebook can be a faster, more joyous process if you take full advantage of a mastermind group. Perhaps first explained by Napoleon Hill back in 1937, a mastermind group coordinates their knowledge and effort to achieve a specific purpose.
Surround yourself with like-minded people who are working on a daily basis to achieve success in their field. They do not need to be writers; any profession will do. Make every effort to meet weekly, either in person or on a teleconference, so that you can exchange thought and ideas and discuss what you are doing.
This is a way to think out loud with people who will be supportive and encouraging. They will also tell you when you are getting off track. You are all accountable to one another to do what you say you will do during a specific period of time.
If you are working on your ebook you may want to read parts of it to the group or at least make it available to them to read in advance. Ask them specific questions about your title, your chapter headings, your topic - anything that you are not sure of in regards to your writing. You are not looking for coaching here, but instead you are seeking the thoughts and ideas of this group of trusted individuals.
At the end of each mastermind meeting everyone in the group will make a commitment to do something before the next meeting. You may agree to complete a certain number of pages or to make the changes suggested by the members at the current meeting.
Every successful person in history has surrounded themselves by people that act as mentors to them. These people are trusted advisors who will assist you in achieving your goals.
